Rainbow Harmony Project (RHP) is excited to welcome a new Social Media Assistant to our staff team. This part‑time contract role supports our communications and marketing work across the season, helping us share our music, our stories, and our community with audiences in Winnipeg and beyond.
RHP is Winnipeg’s 2SLGBTQIA+ choral community, home to both our flagship adult choir and our youth choir. We create music together, build meaningful connections, and inspire social change — and we’re looking for someone who can help us tell that story online.
About the Role
The Social Media Assistant will work closely with the Executive Director and Communications & Marketing team to plan and create content, capture photos and videos at rehearsals and events, and help grow RHP’s online presence. This is an 11‑month contract beginning as soon as possible, with flexible hours (approximately 12–14 hours/month) and a mix of remote and in‑person work.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a creative, organized communicator with experience in social media content creation — especially Instagram and Facebook. Familiarity with YouTube, Canva, and Google Suite is an asset, along with comfort working in choral/arts and 2SLGBTQIA+ community spaces.
