RHP Announces Brittany Mielnichuk as New Executive Director

We are so excited to announce that our Artistic Director, Brittany Mielnichuk has returned from parental leave to begin her new role as Executive Director with RHP.

Thanks to substantial funding from The Winnipeg Foundation, RHP is able to welcome Brittany as our first permanent employee and we couldn't be happier about this appointment!

Brittany joined the RHP family back in 2017 as our Assistant Director, and became our Artistic Director in 2018. Since then she has lead RHP through two milestone anniversaries, got us through the pandemic years, founded our youth choir, directed us at the Gala Choruses and Unison Choruses festivals as well as at countless outreach events and performances in Winnipeg and beyond. Brittany has also worked tirelessly behind the scenes on many projects that have helped to increase our visibility and strengthen our voice for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

In January Brittany will also resume her role as Artistic Director and we are so excited to see how our capacity as a local, queer arts organization will grow with her at the helm.

Please join us in welcoming (back) Brittany!
