Local 2SLGBTQIA+ Choir Releases Official Music Video

Rainbow Harmony Project is excited to share a project that has been many years in the making!

Throughout the pandemic shutdowns, RHP members continued to meet online and were thrilled to work with local singer‑songwriter Raine Hamilton. Raine led our members through songwriting workshops, and when we were finally able to gather in person again, they joined us at rehearsals to help us write a song together as a group.

We knew we wanted to create a piece that told the story of RHP and together we brought to life a work that reflects the lived experiences of RHP members--that singing with this choir has a meaningful impact on individuals and provides community.

With the generous support of Manitoba Arts Council and the Foundation for Choral Music in Manitoba, we commissioned Raine to arrange the song into an SATB choral work. Since then, we’ve had the joy of premiering it live for our local audience.

The final step in this journey was creating a music video to share our song with the world.

We hope you love it as much as we do!

RHP would like to thank all of our collaborators:
