Messiah Queered is a re-imagining of Handel's classic oratorio performed through a 2SLGBTQIA+ lens. It's also an audience sing-along, supported by Winnipeg's own queer choir, Rainbow Harmony Project!
So bring a score and come and sing! Drag and general fabulousness of attire is highly encouraged!
Conducted by Nathan Poole, with soloists Kathleen Murphy (mezzo-soprano), Kyle Briscoe (tenor), Sandra Bender (soprano), and Stephen Haiko-Pena (bass-baritone) and orchestra members from the local 2SLGBTQIA+ community and its allies.
Tickets are $25 online or pay what you can at the door.
All proceeds will go to Sunshine House.
